Our recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express Málaga Airport was mostly pleasant. The room was clean and adequately sized, with a particularly spacious bathroom. The front desk staff were courteous and attentive, and we appreciated the early snack option available from 4 in the morning, perfect for travelers with early flights. Breakfast, starting from 7, was also convenient for an airport hotel. However, the hotel's location, while technically close to the airport, lacked pedestrian access, forcing us to take a bus route that significantly extended the journey time. The airport buses ran infrequently, every 30-40 minutes, and the 4 euro fare for a short 5-minute ride felt disproportionate. Overall, our stay was comfortable, but the transportation inconvenience was a notable drawback.

Hotel ideally located for car rental pick up/drop off, but although close to airport it’s not possible to walk there. Check-in and check-out was quick, and staff were very helpful. Our room and bathroom were spacious and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was busy but plenty of choice in the buffet. Plenty of free outside parking in the hotel car park.

Perfect location - close to the airport. Nice, clean rooms, bar open until 1am. You can open the windows, which is not obvious in such hotels. I stayed alone: the room had unfortunately 2 separate beds (would have like a big bed). Booked early, I got a very good price. I noticed the price increased considerable towards the date of my trip

The staff here are excellent. Very friendly and professional. They were helpful on how to get in and out of Malaga centro, as well as informatioh on the best way to safely bike from the hotel. The room size is ample, the bed comfortable and the breakfast was good. There is free parking if you have a car.

Although there is no sidewalk, you can walk from the airport, once you get out, you need to go through all the parkings that are on your right, carefully cross the street at the very end, few hundreds meters straight then turn left going under the bridge you'll find the hotel just after that
